Taking your driving test in Warrington
Since 2008 there has been no Driving Test Centre in Warrington which has meant that learner drivers have had to take their driving test in another town. The DSA announced recently that from 5 March 2012 the DSA will resume driving tests in Warrington on a temporary basis, the temporary test centre will be at the Paddington House Hotel on Manchester Road.
Driving tests will be running from the Paddington House Hotel until June, the test centre is then expected to transfer to a more permanent site at the “Orford Community Hub” on Festival Avenue in Warrington. This is great news for people who want to learn how to drive in the Warrington area. You are now able to take driving lessons on local Warrington test routes and then also take your driving test on the same routes instead of travelling out of town.
